Freeman signs pro contract

Zach Freeman has signed a professional basketball contract with Hagen Phoenix, a team that plays in the second highest league in Germany...

Keelan Amelianovich ('06), of course, is fresh off a successful first professional season in Spain.
Zach leaves for Germany Thursday. I'll be sure to post updates from him as often as possible. Congratulations and good luck, Zach! Always remember you're a Titan.

Zach Freeman played two pre-season games for Phoenix Hagen this past weekend. In the first one he scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, in the second one he had 22 points. Let's see if Zach will be able to continue putting up these good stats when Kyle Jeffers (6'9'' from Oregon State) has arrived, who is supposed to be the starting center. Besides Freeman and Jeffers Phoenix Hagen have two more players from the USA: Adam Baumann, a 6'8''-Forward/Center from Youngstown State and Donte Gennie, a sharpshooter who graduated from Georgia Southern earlier this year.
